TimesPro Digital Marketing Course | Should I Join? How Effective Will The Placements Be?

TimesPro Digital Marketing Course is one the famous courses in India. Times Pro is into digital marketing training and the biggest advantage for them is the brand name of Times of India. As a Digital Marketing Trainer, I would love to offer the great quality training to those common man too who can’t afford to study with huge investments.

Before me started taking my passion as profession, I would love to let you know that I worked with top MNC’s like Accenture, CSS Corp, and Amazon India for 6.5 years totally and I have a great taste of corporate standard training. My dream as to offer the same standard and quality training to people who are having lower budget for digital marketing course.

The primary purpose of my visit to Timespro office is not to join. But to get to know their modules and standard of teaching that is worth 83,0000 INR.

To better understand the standard of teaching, I personally visited their office in Chennai (Behind Globus Building, Pondy Bazzar, T.Nagar) and observed few information. I would like to share them with you.

  • Their primary training is not into Digital Marketing. They offer several other course. Digital marketing is one among Them.
  • They have a good interior and pleasant atmosphere of an educational organization.
  • They took enough time to discuss and explain the digital marketing course details. If I remember correctly they offered two course modules. One with 35,000 INR and another with 85,000 INR.
  • They claimed that they offer placements and support. But I was unable to see the placement showcase related to digital marketing. What I understood is that they have tie ups with leading banking sectors. They have the display of students placed in different banks. When I asked them about those photos, they said they are related to banks.

The above mentioned details are my own opinion and I have not written this post to damage the reputation of the institution.

Let me come to the answer for the question, should I join the TimesPro Digital Marketing course? How effective will the placements be?

I would suggest, you can join the course with them provided

  • You are unable to get any other quality institute to train you on Digital Marketing.
  • You can afford their course fee.
  • If you are a person who does not need spoon feeding or personal support.
Even though they are branded, I would strongly suggest you to follow the best practices to select a digital marketing institute that you deserve.

Rather than selecting a training institute, I would suggest you to learn to validate the trainer and institute.

Another point is to keep your requirements ready. Approach any institute and ask them your requirements. If they say yes, they are the right person to teach you.

Few requirements are:
  • Why do you need to learn about digital marketing? I mean what is your goal?
  • Will the institute work along with your goal?
  • Is your trainer already has hands-on experience on what you are expecting or he is going to teach you?
    • If you want to make money after learning digital marketing, I would want you to check the trainer is already making money. If not he is not the right person to teach you. If you still select someone who does not know how to do, it is almost like learning swimming from someone who has never swum in his life.
  • How much time can you spend on the course?
  • What is your preferred time slot?

How to validate any Training Institute?

  • Ratings and Reviews

    Never ever trust or believe ratings and reviews. The institutes have already read the students mind and people fall prey to fake ratings and reviews.
  • If an institution has a 5-star rating for 9,000 reviews, do you really believe it is possible to have one? I believe at least 10 people would have at least selected a 4-star rating.

  • In the above google review, I have shared my observation. The value 1 review says the account holder has left a single review in his lifetime. If the person has the habit of reviewing the business, he or she must be a part of the Google Local Guide Program. Else they might have reviewed other business too. Here, the possibility of the reviews posted may intentionally be created to broadcast and get business leads.
    • While reading a few reviews you can feel that the answer might have followed a template.
    • Another point to be noted is that this profile holder does not have a profile picture updated. This actually means the id is not mapped to a real account. The account might have been created exclusively for posting fake review.
  • Check out their choice words when they talk to you. If they use words that give priority to course fee, next batch starting date, offer for immediate joining. These words will highlight that the person or institute may get your course fee and may not pay attention.
  • Never Ever pay your course fee upfront. Take minimum 2 demo session from the prescribed trainer. Once you are satisfied, pay the half fee and pay the remaining fee anytime.
  • Make sure that they are giving you the adequate information to you for making a better decision. The institute must give you information and knowledge. They must not force you to start the course with them.

Organic Results


The word organic means naturally grown without adding any fertilizers or chemicals. This applies exactly to a website with respect to its visitors. When a website receives relevant visitors without spending any money or extra effort in promoting a content, we can term it as organic visitors. Driving complete organic visitors is the only goal of any organization.

The organic visitors are those who visit a website by searching in search engines. Few examples of search engines are Google, Yahoo, Bing, Duckduckgo, Yandex and ask. An SERP may display results without advertisements. However, it can not ignore the organic results.

Understanding SERP


The first level of details are related to search box, voice typing, search icon, web results, Image Results, News Results, Shopping Results, and Maps Results. I have highlighted the features in the image give below:



Search Box


The biggest text box available next to the google logo is called search box. As a user, we will use this box to enter the keyword to search the search engine database. While entering the keyword, the auto suggested keywords related to the query will pop up. It helps the end user to get keyword ideas even before completing the search query.


Voice Typing


Speech to text or voice typing is a great feature that google offers for free in its products. The products like google search engine, google docs, google translate, android keyboard has the voice typing feature embedded for free. All you need to do is to tap on the mic icon and start speaking. The speech will automatically be translated into text. The search terms will return the SERP automatically.

The search button is present next to the voice typing icon. After entering the search query manually, you need to click on the icon or hit the enter button to get the search results.


Web Results


Web results is the default page for Search Engine Results Page. The results are displayed as per google rank brain algorithm. The search results includes the combination of Image Results, News Results, Shopping Results, Video Results and Maps Results.

Image Results

The image results are displayed separately on a separate tab. The web results are default. However, to find only the image results, we need to click on the images option. All image results related to the search query will be returned. There are further filters available under images.

The search engines display images in different sizes in the results. Based on our needs, we will be able to filter images based on any size, larger image, medium size and icons.

By filtering the images by color, we will be able to filter images with black and white only. The transparent images will help us to create more custom images using online tools like canva.com

  • Usage Rights
As per the journalism code of ethics, it is a professional practice to give proper credits to the creative owner by referring to their website or works. Adding due credit is a great practices that helps the creative owner to get hid due credit for his hard work and effort.

The images for the website must be created on our own. Using copyrighted images may lead to legal issues and any owner can sue you and you may incur a great financial loss too. Hence, google offers the option to filter images with the usage rights option. By choosing the images that are royalty free and copyright free will help us to play a fool proof and safe game.

    • Not Filtered by License
The images displayed under Not Filtered by License will contain all the images that are copyrighted and free from royalty. It is the default result and choosing the images from this may that generates revenue may lead to legal action.

    • Labeled for reuse with modification
This category of images can be used for commercial purposes by making a small or other changes. However, using the images as it is not allowed.

    • Labeled for Reuse
Images taken from this filter can be used for commercial purposes without making even a single change. 

    • Labeled for non commercial reuse with modification
Labeled for non commercial reuse with modification refers to usage of copyrighted images for non commercial usage with slight or more modification. Indirectly it means we can not generate revenue using this creative content in any form.

    • Labeled for non commercial reuse
These images can be taken directly and used. But not for commercial use. But for knowledge purpose or educational purposes.
